🫂 Laulima Pahoa, Reggae on the Runway, and Poet Genny Lim

This Sunday in Hilo, don’t miss an afternoon of poetry and conversation with former San Francisco Arts Commissioner and SFJAZZ Poet Laureate Genny Lim, whose writings are informed by her passion for social justice, her collaborations with jazz legends such as Herbie Lewis, and her experience growing up as a second generation Chinese American in San Francisco.

Hi friend!

Where do I even begin? There’s so much happening this week!

If you’re on Hilo side: visit Uncle Roberts out in Kalapana for a Maui Fire fundraiser on Saturday afternoon or catch a poetry reading by SFJAZZ Poet Laureate Genny Lim on Sunday afternoon in Hilo.
